Raised in the East Kootenay's, I developed a love for exploration, wandering trails, camping under the stars, and discovering hidden lakes. I bring that same adventurous spirit into every session, pairing it with my love for romance films and novels to create imagery that feels intimate, emotive, and deeply connected.
When COVID hit, it felt like everyone was starting a business. At the time, I would have called myself an amateur photographer. I was shooting on a $100 camera from Kijiji and offering small photo sessions on Facebook. Photography had always been something I loved, I even took courses in school, but I never truly saw it as a legitimate career path.
During that time, my husband kept asking me the same question: “If you could start any business, what would it be?” And every time, my answer was photography. After the third time, he finally said, “Why don’t you just be a photographer then?” I remember being genuinely shocked (like I needed permission to claim it as my own).
He became my biggest supporter from that moment on. Shortly after, I invested in professional camera gear, took another photography course, and committed fully to growing not just as a photographer, but as a business owner. Since then, I’ve continued to invest in my craft, my education, and the experience I offer every couple I work with.
We recently did a rain couple photoshoot with Kendra and it was such a wonderful experience! This was our very first photoshoot in Canada, and she made us feel so comfortable and natural the whole time. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and truly captured our emotions. She is so kind, talented, and passionate about her work—we couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her!
